Good afternoon all. We have recently moved in to a 1950s house in SE London and have two upcoming jobs.
1. Boiler has just packed up so replacing this which will also mean replacing the flue
2. There is already a reasonable sized hole in the same wall which I would love to make good
For this (as hopefully the pictures show), I’m looking to source as close a brick as possible to what is already there. Obviously colour will be important but these bricks have more of a “texture” than most that I am used to also?
From looking at the brickwork, it looks as though a doorway was bricked up when an extension was done, so I’m aware I’m already at the mercy of two slightly different brick tones on the same wall, but just looking to get as close as possible.
Many thanks for your input and guidance
