Bubbling kitchen work top

Hi could anyone give me any advice. This kitchen worktop is under 2 years old I had a leak and water must have got in-between the joining and its lifting. Is there anyway I can salvage it? I've added photos.

Presume it is chipboard which water has got into, in which case not much can be done as swelling will continue.

do you have household insurance ??
you have damage caused by an accident causing consequential damage now providing they accept the consequences [which i think they should ]even though it probably wasnt properly joined and sealed in the first place
