Building regs RE: kitchen to bathroom distance

Hi there,

With regards to meeting building regs:
Just wondered if anyone can tell us if there is a minimum required distance between a kitchen and a bathroom (in this case, in a garage conversion)?

..... unless there is a sink in the room immediately outside the toilet :wink:
 
you're not washing your pee drenched hands in my kitchen sink.. and I've told you to stop trying to use 3 fingers to hold it.. 2 is more than enough for you.. :wink:
 
They mean a hand-rinse basin :wink: and you can supply the hot from a small electric heater nearby if necessary :idea:

It was the two door rule that concerned me so it's great to know we won't need to worry about that!

And having seen the state my boys end up in - they're going nowhere near my kitchen sink! :)
