bungalow loft conversion

project just about to start !!!
loft conversion so require basic info on relative costs of dormer v velux (materials / labour)
any ideas on staircase positioning and type ?

any replys appreciated.

your staircase should have 2m of headroom above the top step.{u.k.building reg,s}
hope this helps with the positioning.
velux windows are far quicker and cheaper to install than dorma.
