Hi ,
I have a old alarm system and it works fine at the moment. Except I need to remove a PIR sensor and zone, as we have some work done and its not needed anymore. I have bypassed the zone in the box but I don't know what will happen to the tamper part of the alarm. I would really not like to have to remove the whole wire to the box as its quite a distance from the box and when the house was built and behind all the plaster boards. Is there a different way in which I can leave the cable in a remove PIR sensor with out it tripping the tamper.
This is the inside of the sensor.
Thanks for any help
While doing some more reading , would be as simple as connecting the two tamper wires together and then that would complete the loop ?
