Hi all

just another one to clarify from my previous posts,

In Spain do you have to use single core cable in conduit or can you use multicore( twin core and earth) in a sheath ?

thanks

I would be wary of using British T&E in Spain. Because the earth is unsheathed and also smaller than the L & N conductors, AFAIK it does not comply with Spanish regulations. Also, especially in rural areas, TT earthing (it is doubtful any other like TNS would be available) may be inadequate especially during dry weather, so extra care with earthing is required.

Although technically, under EU regulations, working to BS7671 is (should) be acceptable in Spain, firstly it would be easier to sell ice to Eskimos than get the Spanish authorities to accept it, and secondly, to use bits and pieces of BS7671 mixed in with Spanish might be viewed with even more distain.

I suspect the three-core solid core cable may the Afumex which was referred to in an earlier post by the OP
