Can i clad a shed with reclaimed planks

If so is there any particular way I should fit them?
Maybe pack out the bottom of each so that the water drips down from the joint?

are you laying them horizontal or vertical? Do you have a table saw or planer?

If vertical then overlap them

I was going to lay them.horizontal, as I'm only doing one side and the rest are horizontal.
I've got a circular saw and electric planer.

assuming 22mm ish 15x15mm rebate overlapped to shed water and allow expansion

As above, plane the top edge on one side and the opposite bottom edge of the other and overlap.
