Can I request a copy of the window fitters surveyor report

Hi, I want to request a copy of the surveyor report that was completed by our window fitters surveyor and any fitting notes they may have.

Can anyone tell me answers to the following.

1) Am I within my rights to do this.
2) Do they have to give these to me or are they simply their own records that they can do with and show whi they want.

You can request it but I can't see for one second that they'd be obliged to provide it. Why do you want to see it?

Our roof was damaged when they changed a large window as they should have put roof supports up. The surveyor mentioned this when he came round for the initial survey but the fitter did not do it. I just want to see the survey report to make sure it was on there and any other notes relating to the window or roof that mention potential issues
