Can plasterer skim over my poor dot and dab?

Hi,

I'm new to dot and dabbing and admittedly struggling, I've only accomplished three boards and cannot seem to get them perfect, will the skim coat go over these boards or will they require correcting?

There is a couple of mm high and low points between them..

They can, if it's too much for skim alone they could put a thin coat of bonding plaster on first.
