Canadian regulations

Hello, Can anyone one tell me whether Canadian installations are governed by the same regulations as the USA, i.e. the NEC or NFPA70? If not, then where can I find a copy of Canadian local Regs? Thanks.

i am saying why would Canadian regs be the same as American regs.

to me its like saying would english stuff comply to french regs.

we both have same voltage / frequncy and colour code but thats it

IIRC the canadians have thier own electrical code known as the CEC which is similar but not identical to the US NEC.
