Can't post pictures

Hello, hope this is in the right section.....when i plug my phone into the p.c, a balloon came up asking if i'd like to upload my pics.. i click on ok. and off it went.......
Now, one of my daughters has installed for me, one of those miniture cameras that you can look inside your mouth with or down the bore of a car cylinder, anyway, now when i plug my phone in, nothing comes up no more, i really need to get this back as i use my pics for ebay quite a lot. my daughter cannot correct this...is there a simple way to get back to as i was before ? am using chrome and i think it was windows that offered to upload my pics...thank you...

Look in File Explorer to see if you can see your phone as a separate drive.

I suspect the setting has been changed to 'not automatically ask' what happens when you plug in your phone.

With my PC two programs as well as windows 10 transfer photos from phone to PC. One is called Smart Switch and it is designed to work with my Samsung, the other is Bridge which came as part of Photoshop. I am sure there are many more, as well as simply copy/paste or drag and drop.

Not a clue which program you were using. They can all be set to auto start.
