Cavity tray required below a bifold door?

Is a cavity required below a bifold door? My architect has sent me drawings and it’s showing a cavity tray with weep holes below the bifold, I’m presuming it may be there to send any water that goes through the frame/sill to the outside (he’s currently away)

here’s the part of the drawing showing the tray, surely it’s not required within the cavity along the whole perimeter? That’s what the lean mix fill is for

Can't really see the point. If the tray isn't there any water is going to drop below DPC and percolate out in the same way as the rest of the wall. Has he specced a tray for above the lintel?- that one is needed.

Are sure you want that detailing? It shows the internal skin finishing just under the door cill -surely you want the insulation and screed to run across to the back of the outer skin so your floor finish can run across.
For a bifold door it can be best to omit the cavity where the door opening is, so the bifold threshold is fully supported -correct damp detailing required.

Is that cavity tray a radon gas barrier?
 
Ahh yes the radon gas may be the case, but it do us also suggest weep holes?

in regards to the rolling threshold, is this sort of
