Hi,

I realize this is probably not the standard query appearing on this board but I wanted to know which hikvision range camera may be more suitable for close view
of wildlife, would a 4k camera be much better than a 1080 one for looking at a bird table from close range?

Varifocal would be better as you can alter the field of view , then it depends on what you are viewing it on ….4k and 1080 will look the same on a non 4k tv

how far away is the table from where it’s to be mounted how big is the bird table you want to cover.

1080p will be fine if you have a lens that makes it effectively zoomed in, you will also have a higher frame rate to view it back at. all depends on what exactly you want to capture.
