Ceiling paint - My ordering ok?

Hello,

I’m going to be painting my bathroom ceiling which was never primed (new build) and after 5 years has started to peel so can’t really argue with it.

I’ve removed all of the peeling / flaking and sanded down the edges but need a little help on the ordering of the next steps, this is my current plan:

1, Use a fine surface filler with a tapping knife for better coverage.

2, Lightly sand the area and fill again.

3, Wipe down and coat the entire ceiling with Peel Stop.

4, Prime with Zimmer 1.2.3.

5, Two top coats of Dulux Bathroom Easy Care.

Just looking for feedback to make sure I’ve got it the right way around!

Fine surface filler adhesion direct to bare plaster is poor in my experience.

I would do the following:
1) Mist coat the bare plaster with a watered down standard matt emulsion (not a bathroom one, the mould resistant chemicals aren't great for mist coats)
2) Do any fine surface filling/sanding required
3) Mist coat sanded filler with same paint as 1)
4) Coat the whole lot with Gardz to avoid future peeling of other areas
5) Two coats of bathroom white emulsion of your choice

I'd like just use acrylic primer undercoat for the sealing and priming as made for the job vs cheapo chalky emulsion then zinsser perma white to finish.
That has a slight sheen and looks like white melamine but a great bathroom paint.

Get a summer fan to blow air about to cut filler and prep drying by half so you can get on with it
