i have sargas combi boiler the hot water works fine but as soon as you want the heating on the central heating seems to stop any idears thanks

That's how Combi's work, they cannot do both functions at the same time, and the Hot Water has priority.

Usually it is not noticed because the hot water isn't running for a long enough period of time for the radiator temperatures to fall too much before the tap is closed and the radiators are back on again.
