Changing Belling Cooker Fan Oven Element

I have a Belling DB4 cooker.
The left (main) oven element has blown.
I want to replace it but the two screws that hold the element in place are seized. I don't want to try too hard in case I mangle the screw heads
What's the best way to remove these screws?
Also can the element be replaced from inside the oven or do I need to go in through the back?

The screws are normally Phillips screws, and not pozi drive. Do you have the correct screwdriver?

You normally remove the two screws and pull the element and cables towards yourself.
 
Yes. It sits tight in the screw
Was looking for additional advice as to what you do when they won't budge.
What's best to lubricate?
 
The top screw is very slightly corroded, the lower one looks fine.

I have, in my limited experience, never needed to lubricate those types of screws. The metal plate at the back is typically no thicker than 2mm or so.

Try to tighten the screws slightly before then trying to loosen them.

There are numerous lubricants, PlusGas, WD40, etc.
 
I tried loads of lubricant but just can't get either of the screws to budge.
What are my options now?
