Chasing walls for plastic conduit

Hi everyone,

I am doing quite a large electrical job with about 250 electrical points. There is about 130 chases to be done on six inch block wall.

Regarding the chasing, are there any regulations on chasing across the wall. I will obviously be chasing top to bottom but in some situations I need to go left to right.

anyone fixing say a shelf after you have done it will screw strait through the plastic trunking and ..............bang

Metal conduit would be far preferable in this instance... But I must ask... large electrical job? 250 outlets? And you aren't an electrician? Is this really worth your while, what if you c*ck it up and find yourself spending the next month or two ironing out the faults?

I have swam a mile in one go before but I have no plans to swim the English Channel...
