Hi all,
seen similar threads from years ago, but wanted up-to-date advice i guess.
I'm renovating our downstairs cloakroom and going from single taps to a monoblock.
Now both hot and cold feeds do (did) give fairly equal water pressure, so do i need to fit a NRV to the hot feed?
We have a combi boiler if that makes any difference.

Also, aside to this, our kitchen at work; the cold water is always warm for a good few seconds before it goes cold. Could this be because the hot water pressure is higher and therefore there should be a NRV on the cold feed maybe?

Many thanks for your advice.

Make sure the monobloc taps are suitable for high pressure taps.

The cold work tap is probably hot because the pipes abut each other, and the heat transfers when the cold is not in use.

Blup
