Eldest just cancelled his train ticket.
It would have been much better to have re-scheduled the ticket, I suspect.
He did cancel. And he paid for "insurance".
???
IIRC (I don't take much notice, tbh), you pay £1.85 at booking, and you can cancel without further charge.So what use is this "insurance" for charge free refunds?
