We are making the following enquiry. We really don't know whether:-
1. the floor needs a good clean (we mop it every week)
or
2. it needs sanding and sealing
or
3. it needs waxing/polishing

all we know is that

1. the floor is continually dusty (very dusty)

2. even after you have brushed, and mopped the floor it still looks dusty

3. some of the wooden segments appear worn, some may even be slightly loose

We just know that we need someone to give us advice on what we need to do. We are a small methodist church in Bignall End, and therefore do not have alot of money to spend, but we do realise that this particular problem needs attending to.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

yours sincerely,

If your floor has never been maintained then it is reasonable to assume that general wear and tear will have taken off any varnish and continues to do so. Have you thought (maybe just a test patch) of stripping down any varnish (then wash down with a rag of white spirit) and then applying a hardwearing varnish such as Diamond. Hope this helps.
