I have a Jenn Aire wall double oven that is over 10 years old. We purchased this house in July and now the circuit breaker trips whenever I turn the oven on for a few minutes. The breaker feels hot. It just started all of the sudden. The oven is the only thing on this breaker. Is it the breaker or the oven? Any suggestions welcome.

Very difficult to say. You say that this is a double oven. Does the same thing happen with either one? If so it's unlikely to be the oven. However, as this sounds like an "old" installation it's probably better to get someone in to check the wiring and the breaker to be on the safe side.

Thanks for your response. And yes both ovens trip the breaker. Since posting the question, I have found out that when my washer and dryer are going at the same time is when this happens. My main circuit breaker box doesn't have anything marked, so I am assuming that they are together and can't handle the load.

Thanks again for your input
