We are looking for advice. We have a 20 x 12 wooden shed (storing lawn mower, tools etc) which has some rotten wood on the gable and front where the rain hits and so leaks in the winter. (Some rotten bits were replaced a few years back and painted but the same has happened) it gets the brunt of the weather and rains a lot in Wales. We are looking for the best way of cladding to keep it watertight.
We have been trying to research all of the different possibilities but we are at a loss to know which to opt for.
We need something fairly easy to do as there are only two of us, and something that does not cost the earth.
We had thought of covering with onduline but read that it might sag or rip over time. Thoughts?
Then thought about the steel, which is possible but we don’t have an angle grinder so would need to invest in one for that.
Then we looked into composite panels which is possible but quite costly.
What would experienced people here use?
Incidentally the roof was redone a number of years ago and is completely sound.
Very much looking forward to hearing ideas, thank you so much in advance.
