Sounds odd I know.
Chucked a sort of temporary ish driveway in about 10 years ago (100mm of road plantings, no membrane) so not surprisingly it's full of weeds.
Now started to relay it exactly where I want it- digging down to 150, putting membrane down.
Is there any easy way of cleaning the soil and mud from the old planings? I'll need more planings for certain but doing it in strips so I can keep using the driveway.
So far I've tried chucking a barrowload on a mesh sheet and pressurewashing it (not a success), chucking a barrowload in the mixer and filling it with water (moderate success but very time consuming and leaving a lot of muddy water to get rid of).
Next try will be the mesh but hose spray head rather than pressure washer
Any other suggestions?
