Colour ink in Black Cartridges

I have a Canon TS3150.
Is it possible for me to load colour ink into the black cart for normal use.
I realise that there must be a cart in the colour space for the machine to function
but never use colour on this machine and it would be useful to make use of the colour bottles I've accumulated in the black cartridge.
