I have built a small block based workshop in my garden (project here). The floor is concrete laid on hardcore / building sand / dpm.
What would be a good method to finish off the floor. I was about to lay a sharp sand / cement screed coat (5:1) and then paint with a grey 2 part epoxy (I have loads of Lechler Auto Body left not sure it that would suffice).
How deep should the screed coat be laid and do I need to prep the concrete with PVA / Water mix?
Any thoughts.
