Hi there,
We moved into a victorian property a couple of years ago, which already had a wrap around extension built in the 70's.
The kitchen wastes run alongside an internal wall and then through what would have been the external wall at the back and down into what is now a concreted floor.
There are 4 (!) wastes in total, all of which just disappear into the floor.
We know there is an entrance into the soil pipe that runs below the property a metre or so form this entry point so the assumption is that these wastes run into what would have been the gully on the former external wall of the property.
This seems to have just been concreted over.
We now plan to remove 4 of those wastes and then add a new one from the area where a new kitchen island will be. This needs to be below the floor, but if the gully is still there, this should be fine, especially as when i look at the attached property, the gullies are quite deep, over a foot.
Any advice as to how this might have been concreted over and how best to connect into it would be greatly appreciated, happy to cut into and chop away some of the floor obviously to create a further entrance to the gully but don't really want to break out the concrete that's filling the gully
