Configuring Wiser SmartHub System

I'm into day 3 of fitting this and trying to get the whole system fully working. It is a 3 channel system, has 2 room thermostats, 13 smart trv's and 2 smart plugs. All trv's have schedules and are allocated to the correct rooms and channels.

Almost everything worked fine first time - apart from getting bizarre behaviours in a couple of rooms where the app is showing the room is below temperature and is drawing heat but the radiator is cold.

With the help of Wiser Tech Support (no call queues :) ), we've tried the following :
- we know its not a room thermostat problem as other rads in the zone are hot.
- the channels, rooms, etc have been checked as correct.
- the trv's have been identified via the app as in the correct room
- the trv batteries are good and there are strong signals from trv to smart hub
- the trv's aren't faulty as they've been swapped around with others know to work
- the trv's have been unallocated, schedules deleted and rooms removed from the app. trv's have then been factory reset and then re-allocated and rooms rescheduled. Problem repeats itself.
- the trv's have been taken off and refitted to the rads and are tight

Over the last couple of days, whilst trying to get things working (and changing things in the app), something happened where a room that was previously working fine developed the problem and another room suddenly was OK - it started to heat up.

Has anyone come across this before and can offer a possible cause/solution - or even to help me chat with Tech Support as we now seem to be trying the same things to resolve the issues

* UPDATE *

The problem seems to be that the piston in the TRV isn't fully retracted when the TRV was first screwed onto the radiator (you can tell if this is the case if you're having difficulty screwing the TRV onto the valve because there is not enough thread).

The solution is to take the batteries out of the TRV and that seems to cause the piston to retract fully. There's then plenty of thread for the TRV to be properly screwed down onto the pin in the rad valve.
