Hi,

I have recently moved to Berlin, Germany and I am trying to connect a new lamp to a double switch. Currently there is already one lamp connected.

I have prepared a diagram of the current situation, which is viewable in the following link:

I have to say that I have a very little knowledge when it comes to electricity and wiring therefore I would appreciate if you guys could help me to figure out how to wire the other lamp without getting my house burned down :)
I've added numbers and letters to make it more simple - for example, should I connect A to 2 or, A to 1 and so on. I hope it makes sense...

Thank you in advance,

What are A,B and C? You have shown the existing lamp with a double pole switch, where does the other side of switch 2 go? The normal way of adding another lamp would be to connect a two core and earth cable between the old and new lamp fittings, connecting like to like as regards colours.
