Hi folks, just noticed that my conservatory roof is leaking slightly where the roof bar meets the house bricks. Please see pics.

I noticed that the flashing is actually on the inside of the white roof bar, where as a lot of my neighbours have the flashing folded over the white bar.

Can anyone suggest what is causing this or how I might rectify it?

I'm not sure what that step flashing is doing, unless you can show us what is happening once the roof bar cap is removed. Even then, given the complexities of the roof bar itself, I can't imagine the flashing is lapped on much.

Those issues aside, damp can easily bypass the slender roof section, if rain is beating against the wall.

Thanks Noseall. In terms of getting the cap off the roof bar, do these usually come off easily or do I risk snapping the plastic? The conservatory is roughly 25yr old I think.

Some yield easy some don't. I find hip end caps the worst. 25 years is a long time to become brittle.
