I am trying to convert some DVDs intothe right format to view on an iPad through iTunes.

Have downloaded a free DVD decryptor, whichworks fine and takes about 10 minute to work on a DVD.

Then have downloaded Videora iPad Convertor to convert the files into the right format/file type to watch through iTunes, but this is showing around 10 hours to complete!!

Is there another way?

I use Magic Dvd Ripper.

You get 5 full uses with it in trial mode (i.e., you can run the app 5 times, but copy as many as you like per run) before having to purchase.

However, you can reset this counter by removing the appropriate registry keys  .

Visual hub is available for both mac or pc also Isquint works well and gives option to auto save file to itunes.

Or you could just use VLC player instead of Itunes to view your files.
