Hi,
I’m on a steep learning curve here as gradually updating house ,but things just got a little more confusing
I have an utility area ( toilet, laundry room , storage cupboard ) attached to the semi det house . The utility area is built on a concrete slab. The house date back to 1960 and is ex council house. Utility area is back to back with next doors . I want to convert it to a kitchen . I have been left to believe this won’t be a problem as it classed a not a habitual space. I thought the plan was going to be binned as it needed proper foundations.
Do I need proper foundations as it’s not habitable space ? Last thing I need is problems if I decide to sell . There is no dining area in kitchen
thank you for your time .
mike
