From one day to the next the electric cooker stopped working. I have opened the switch double box and found connecting the cooker 4 wires, one of which is loose. I do not know if the loose wire was never connected or if it has come loose. I know the cooker works.

You have helped me previous to repair a 3 way socket that 'controlled' all the lights in the ground floor. Please help me this time as soon as you can.

why "outside of the UK?"

what colours are the wires you have found; how many terminals can you see in the back of the switch, what letters and numbers are against each terminal?

Have you isolated the circuit and tested for dead?

There are 4 wires, one of wich is loose. I will not be in the house until Saturday to check their color and give a precise answer.

There are 4 terminals at the back of the swicht, but unfortunately I have not checked the letters on them either. Will come back
