Hi. We’re fitting a new cooker and would like to add a cooker hood, there isn’t one at the moment. I’m just wondering if there’s any way the cooker hood can share a flue with the gas boiler so we wouldn’t have to put a new hole in the external wall. If not, I think there’s an old chimney behind, can we direct it out there somehow?

100% no.

You can get cooker hoods that don’t need to vent externally I believe, possibly charcoal filtered.
