Covering back of neighbour's shed

Hi all we've had our brick shed removed that was a double shed attached to the neighbour's shed. The builders filled in the gaps under the exposed roof with expanding foam as well as where bricks were removed in the middle.

Firstly, will this all provide enough weatherproofing for our neighbour's shed? Secondly, any suggestions for making a more presentable finish and hiding the broken bricks and foam, e.g. would rendering work? Is there anything we should be wary of when covering it up?

We just told them we want to take the shed down are they ok with that and anything they'd like us to consider and they said it should be fine and had no special considerations...

If someone left my shed like that id be pretty cheesed off.

So what might we do to improve it?

new brick and pointing up need to be done in in the middle area's. and same with the roof. dig that crap out and point up with cement if small gaps, or used half brick slices and cement if a bigger gap. a better ridge flashing might be in order too. hard to say without a close up.

its your job to make it watertight and to a good finish to an exterior standard
the first job is to remove the temporary foam and finnish correctly
this will probably need some work to extend the roof section to cover any finish applied to the new open back surface this may be a render or facing with brick or cladding added

render that wall up flat , to make it watertight. and extend the roof over .

As Benny said render is the obvious way to go and a finish that you can paint to suite your needs
