Afternoon,
I removed the chimney from the roof down the ground floor and am now looking to lay SLC over the foundation where it once stood but not sure if there is anything I should do doing with it before covering?
The rough concrete in the middle is very soft and I believe to be separate from the main foundation slab and the screed around it has the same sound when knocked on top, the house being 90s will hopefully have a DPM under the floor so it should be less of a issue.
The two brick pads under DPC either side is my concern what should be done with them? Don't want damp to start Interfering with the SLC.
