Crack In Bay Window 1950

Hi!

Looking to purchase a house an spotted cracks on the bay windows 1st floor only. Think the windows were changed in 2007, house was built 1950's I believe.

Seen quite a few threads about this being common with UPVC, but just after some second opinions on whether this is considered serious enough to pull out. Could see no cracks visible on the outside.

It could be, as you say, because the Pvc frames have been carelessly fitted.
Also maybe the previous frames were sturdy wood frames that provided more support than the Pvc frames?
Its definitely not a deal breaker. If you want the house then buy it.
The tile hanging is on a stud framework that might have been tweaked by the new frames.
The FF bay floor joists could also have been moved a little.
The interior plasterboard shows signs of this movement but it could easily be investigated, and a quick, & very simple solution quoted for.

I agree with @ree - it's not a deal breaker if you otherwise like the house, but it's a good negotiating point. It's obviously dropped a bit, and more than likely when the windows were replaced. It may or may not have proper supporting bay poles within the frame. I'd probably be thinking of asking for a £4-5K discount to allow for some rectification dismantling and fettling.

What does your survey say, or haven't you done that yet?
