Where were they trying to go whilst being Kettled? A peaceful march that they were told they couldn't approach? That was after they attacked police officers, but was it before they purchased fireworks to throw at the police or before, it's hard to tell.

Being Kettled in a pub for a few hours is hardly the worst thing to ever happen. Peaceful protestors have been kept far longer than that in the past.

According to press reports it was a breakaway group of protestors who where shooting fireworks and were arrested for failure to comply with the restrictions of the march, failure to disperse as well as probably firework offences.

They are discussing the fact these marches can't keep being held every week. Businesses will breathe a sigh of relief in the run up to Christmas if that is the case.
In fact if they feel that strongly they could get their ars*s over Palestine now that would be novel.
