I've got a 6-metre run of fencing to erect, and would like to use some 1.8m wide 'square horizontal panels'. These are decorative/contemporary/continental/European panels (whatever you choose to call them) which have two 'nice' sides. I am faced with the perrenial challenge in that I am going to have to cut a panel down to size. Has anyone experience in cutting these types of panels, and if so - is it far more complicated than cutting standard waney edge style panels?

I have only cut "normal" panels but found that adding the new edge before removing the old one was easier/ or using trigger clamps to hold an extra strip onto the panel while you refit the original edge further in

Sometimes easier to cut both edges rather than just one
