Hi all, just a quick question regarding insulation. i have to insulate below a bow window board externally but it cant be any thicker than 75mm to be hidden behind the trims. i have an offcut of 140mm celotex. Is it ok to cut this in half so i have two thinner sheets 70mm thick and use it for this purpose?
yes I am being tight and will buy a new sheet of 75mm if i need to but any reason why i cant do what i propose?
thanks

I forgot to add, or you may already know, just use a normal wood (Jack) saw with the sheet (cut to about 400mm wide strips) vertical in a workmate or propped up and slow strokes. Wear a mask though.
