Hey everyone, I'm in need of some advice or assistance here. I decided to clean some sticky parts inside my fully functional PS4 controller, but during the process of disconnecting the battery from the motherboard, I ended up tearing a small connector. I've attached pictures below for a clearer view.
Previously, the controller was working perfectly fine; it just needed a good cleaning. Now, I'm wondering if I've broken it beyond repair or if there's still hope. If I were to do some soldering and reattach the connector to the motherboard, is there a chance it could work again?
I'm contemplating whether it's worth trying to fix it or if I should just go ahead and buy a new one (they're relatively inexpensive). Your insights and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
