Hi all was resealing up vc trim on inside window.
Think when I have been removing old sealent with a blade ,I have damaged some of the window casing and left a little gap.
Are they manufactured with a slight gap where I ha e highlighted or is it due to the damage caused by me when removing old silicone
Does this matter ? Just worried about potential water ingress in there into the frame or will it be covered once I put in the upvc and sealent
Attached in yellow is highlighted potentially damaged area and other pic is with the trim before it is installed
