If not done correctly render will hold in the damp.

Is the wetness inside due to water penetration or condensation? Is the shed well ventilated?

In particular, show the eaves, gutters and downpipes that keep rain off the walls.

wetness is due to penetration. when you tap render it sounds hollow. must have blown. will re rerender when weather improves.
