I have just coated a re claimed pie scaffold board worktop with Osmo Polyx oil 3044 Raw Matt. Great clear whitish finish without the pine turning orange. All the dents, scratches etc filled with epoxy resin.
But still looks bit dull compared to the other worktops in the room which are oak with a Danish oil finish.
Wondering if there would be a problem giving a coat of Danish oil over the Osmo to give it a slight sheen without losing the whitish finish, as I have some left over, or is there a more compatable finish to top the Polyx oil ?
