Dell inspiron 15R connection issues?

Hello I have just brought a Dell 15r laptop the weekend and so far im pretty disapointed by it...When im online and attempt to open new pages it occasionally comes up "cant display the page blah blah" ..when I refresh it, it is ok?

It is suppose to go like a rocket as well but it is slower than my old laptop on playing music vids etc, and sometimes just doesnt load them at all or other times it freezes?

tonight I was attempting to download quicktime but it keeps cancelling mid way through with "the connection to the server was reset"?

My misus has no problems at all with her lap top...can anyone help???

Hi,

What does the laptop connect to for Internet (e.g., a router?)

If wireless, have you checked to see if it is connecting to your router or one close by?

The more detail you can give us, the more likely someone will be able to assist..
