Hi, we have a bungalow. We plan to raise the roof by 1.5m and add a dormer in order to convert the entire attic. Do we word this on the planning application as a "loft conversion" or a "first floor extension" or is there some clever wording which exists to explain a half height storey extension with dormer or whatever? (We would still be no taller than our neighbours.)
In fact, does this proposal text even make sense to any of you and what should be altered or not mentioned at this stage? "Loft conversion of bungalow with new roof, extended wall height, central dormer, single storey extension to side with part garage-conversion, exterior stairs to front, balcony to rear, exterior insulation and cladding." Thanks
