new toy today [from tool station]

dw jigsaw nice bit of kit well made no slop no slack great :D :D

put the blade supplied in [nice blade] tightened up draws a line

jigsaw /blade /guide in line start cutting keeping on line starts to crab
follows line complete poo a hollow a bump and then off line
[blade obviously at a slight angle]

any suggestions apart from send it back
have put in several different sharp blades[not going at an angle underneath

there is no give in the slot [is there adjustment that i cant see

im a very practical person so you can[ probably ] ignore the
obvious like is it tight or is it in back to front

Can you fit a splinter guard to the base plate? I have a bosch - the splinter guard helps keeping the blade straight, particularly on thicker materials.

thanks s m

funny enough my mains jigsaw is a bosch with those "CLICK" in
splinter guide
no it has a splinter guide

its actualy rotated at about2% on the vertical axis and wont straighten

ive held it firmly as far round as i can but when you tighten it its out
off line by2% so youve got to angle the whole machine
and as you get what you pay for i want it strait
