Hi,
Scaffolding put up for extension needed two diagonal supports into the neighbour's garden.
When I looked later I find that both the poles are buried deep and against their main wall.
They seek reassurance that this is safe and no damage would happen to their wall
Is this alright? The other straight poles are supported the usual way just these two for some reason they have dug it in and it hits the wall.
Any opinion appreciated.

I'm sure it won't do any damage so long as they make good when they remove them.
They should have asked permission first though, and reassured your neighbour about their worries. Was it the scaffy firm who erected it, or your builders?
Whichever one it is, get them to speak to your neighbour directly to let them know why they did it. Coming from you, (via them), will not carry much weight as your neighbour may think you are simply trying to please them.

Never mind getting them to speak to them, get the scaffolders to put something under the poles to prevent them digging into the ground.
A scaffold plank and scaffold feet should suffice.
