Hi, I am trying to disconnect my electric doorbell from the consumer unit. Can I pull out the fuse? I have tried after turning mains off) but it won't come out? (Pic attached)
Any help appreciated thanks!

That's a transformer, not a fuse. It won't remove from the consumer unit without opening the consumer unit and physically removing it from the mounting rail, then you must have a compliant blanking plate to replace it with.

Opening the consumer unit will expose live parts even with the main switch off.

Thanks, will wait for the electrician to deal with it. Thank you for the response!
