Lots of forums on this stuff but not the exact question.
I have 3 wetrooms, 2 on ply and 1 on concrete.
The plan was to sink a section for the shower area 1500 x 900 and envelope tiles into it but need to waterproof the rest of the room.
The tiler has quoted to use Ditra mat with a section of Dukka board in the shower area but my husband has bought 6mm Aquapanel to cover the whole floor and inside the sunken shower area.
Is Ditra mat needed as well?
Is there a benefit to using Ditra instead of Aquapanel?
If Aquapanel isn't used on the floor, is 6mm Aquapanel thick enough to be used on a stud wall with 12mm Ply behind in an area outside the shower where we have floor to ceiling tiles?
Thanks for any help
