Do i need to treat cut edges of mr plasterboard before tiling?

Hi, I have cut some moisture resistant plasterboard to tile onto.
I am not planning to skim it but do I need to treat or fill the cut edges/ gaps?

I used mapei plaster primer on the boards when fitted, from toool stashun, it gets absorbed in the edges. Much cheaper than other products.
